The fragrance wall at The Candle Bar in Boho Bungalow's Petaluma store — over 30 hand-blended scents lined up in glass bottles

Inside The Candle Bar

Walk in off Kentucky Street, head to the back, and you'll find the Candle Bar. It looks like a bar because it is one — but we pour wax instead of wine. You bring the wine.

You'll spend about two hours with us. Smell every scent on the fragrance wall before you commit. Pour your candle. Sit with your people while everything starts to set.

Come back the next day for your finished candle — and walk out with something you actually made.

It's the best Saturday afternoon plan I know of.

We had a candle pouring class with Jenn! She was so nice and SUCH a good teacher. She was so sweet and caring. Would 1000% do it again!!

...on to the candle making class. They allow you to bring your own bottle and snacks which we did. Jen was our instructor and we were her only students. It was pretty cool because it was almost as if I bought the studio out for our date!

Jen, candle making instructor at Boho Bungalow's Petaluma Candle Bar

Jen

Candle Instructor · Petaluma

If you've read the reviews, you've probably already met Jen — friendly, patient, and the kind of teacher who makes you feel like you booked out the whole studio just for you.

When she's not at the Candle Bar, she's underwater (she's a passionate scuba diver), behind a camera, or making something delicious and entirely plant-based. She brings that same calm, curious energy to every class.

Faith Parker, founder of Boho Bungalow and Bohemian Botanicals, in Petaluma

Faith

Founder · Perfumer

Faith founded Boho Bungalow in 2012 and created its in-house fragrance line, Bohemian Botanicals. She's been making candles since 2016 and studies perfumery in Grasse, France — the perfume capital of the world — which is why our fragrance wall smells the way it does.

She's also a serious traveler: she once surfed on five continents in six months. When she teaches, you're learning from someone who has spent more than a decade obsessed with scent.
