Welcome to Boho Bungalow — A Love Letter to the Journey By Faith Parker, Founder
When I opened the doors to the very first Boho Bungalow, it was in a little town tucked away along California’s Bohemian Highway—a stretch of road as magical as it sounds. That’s where the name came from. I wanted something that felt rooted in place, yet free-spirited. Boho Bungalow is a tribute to that first space: cozy, a little wild, and full of soul.
But really, the roots go deeper than a name or location. Boho Bungalow was born from years of wandering—through over 50 countries, across oceans, down winding jungle roads, and into markets, studios, and sunlit cafés. I’ve lived in California, Hawaii, and Costa Rica, and each of those places left a mark on my eye, my heart, and my sense of beauty.
Surfing has been a through-line in my life. There’s something about catching a wave that makes you feel present, alive, and a little more in tune with the universe. That same feeling is what I hope people experience when they walk through our doors—a sense of ease, of joy, of being uplifted.
Boho Bungalow isn’t just a store. It’s a space that celebrates craftsmanship, story, and that feeling you get when you find the thing that speaks to you—whether it’s a handmade candle, a cozy textile, or a scent that brings you back to somewhere special.
We now have three locations—Occidental, Petaluma, and Paia—but the spirit of that first bungalow lives in each one. I want every guest, traveler, and neighbor who visits us to feel welcome, inspired, and just a little more connected to the beauty in the world.
Thanks for being here. Whether you’ve been shopping with us for years or just found us on your last adventure, you’re part of the story now.
Mahalo Mucho,
Faith
