Once the wax is melted, remove it from heat and let it cool to around 185°F (85°C) before adding fragrance oils. The amount of fragrance oil depends on the type of wax and the desired strength of the scent, typically around 1 ounce per pound of wax.
If you're using dye, add it at this stage and stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.

Step 5: Pour the Wax

Let the wax cool further to around 135°F (57°C) before pouring it into the containers. Pour slowly and carefully to avoid air bubbles.
Leave some space at the top of the container.

Step 6: Cool and Set

Allow the candles to cool and harden at room temperature. This process can take several hours.
As the wax cools, it may sink in the middle. If needed, reheat and pour more wax to top off the candles.

Step 7: Trim the Wick

Once the candles are completely set, trim the wicks to about 1/4 inch (6-7 mm) above the surface of the candle.

Step 8: Enjoy Your Candle

Your homemade candle is now ready to use! Light it up and enjoy the personalized ambiance it brings to your space.
